Coilovers?

What coilover kits does everyone recommend and how much are they? Also how much height are you able to adjust?

I have AVO's on my Mk1. The height is 'fully' adjustable, but it depends what size and weight springs you start off with. Springs cost bugger all, so you can easily order another shorter set if you're not happy with the ride height.

I'm on 300lbs at the front, and std XR2 springs and suspension at the rear. Don't go too hard at the back end (ooer) as Mk1 and Mk2 Fessies are prone to stepping out if its too hard.

Experiment!!

I've got Spax RSX which I've had for about 3 years now. You can't get them anymore as Spax haven't started making them again since they did a complete range relaunch.

Avo's are the most popular, H&R are top notch but nearly twice the price...

You can usually drop 50mm at the highest settings and use shorter springs to go right down to the bumpstops. Lower than you'd ever need to go really.
