I offered you a few parts I had left lying around but you didn't want them! It's very difficult to get everything from one place, ask anyone!

The main parts I want from one place is engine, loom and ECU, the other parts I am hoping, I can get from other areas. But i already tried using an engine from one place then found getting the loom and ecu to be a big guessing game, especially the likes of sensors and idle valves ect...

Right OK let me set out how I see it, you can then say if I'm correct or not, OK? I looking to obtain a 2 ltr Silver Top Zertec series 2, and a 1800 Escort Black top.

So basically I need any MK3.5 16v engine loom with internal EDIS (i.e. no external EDIS module). I will also need a car loom from a fuel injected model. to match the engine loom. As Far,as internal PATS go, I think a separate pats module maybe the way to go, as I would hope to get the ignition Barrel and key plus the barrel ring'

Ecu wise I believe I'm right in saying any of the following will do the job:

DEEP, DESK or DEWY.

I think I will need the following as well:

sump, oil pick up, flywheel (and clutch - must match your gearbox type), inlet (alloy type, ideally from an RS1800 or XR3i 130PS, not late Escort plastic type - I need a a 1.8 one at least, with matching injector plate), water pump, water pump pulley, there's probably more. (Uncertain about all the sensors I will require to make this work)

I think I will also need a CVH alternator and Zetec pulley if I use a CVH alternator mount, or simply a Zetec alternator if I use a Zetec mount. Ideally I'd want a Fiesta one -That is another reason for External PATS. Not sure If i will need a PATS mount. If not, a a mount from a MK3 Fiesta 16v, i.e. XR2i 16v or RS1800 (early).

This is what I've been informed of, and will need more I think, in fact I'm sure I'm going to need quite much more... but hope this provides some direction for you to see...

On Facebook on the fiesta mk3 rs group, there's a guy nick shorter that's breaking two mk3 zetecs a si and rs 1800

Your other option is to buy a whole vehicle which may be cheaper in the long run
