hi guys ive been having steering wheel vibrations on my fiesta si for a few years now and cant find the problem

ive tried a number on steering racks
had the tracking done a number of times
2 brand new driveshafts
replaced 2 buckled wheels
new steering uj joint
new track rods
brand new manual steering column
new top mounts
brand new gaz coilovers
new tyres
vibra technic mounts
area six rose jointed wishbones

wheel bearings seem fine no play or anything

(cars been converted to manual steering)

still cant find the problem

i bought the rs turbo box back in 2007 for 50quid and seems fine driving but anything over 80mph i 90% of the time get the vibrations through the steering wheel

really want to get it sorted so i can have the confidence to take the car on the track, the lsd diff seems to be fine, just struggling to find the cause

Whenever I've had that problem it was ether the wheels not sitting on the hubs properly or stuck on wheel weights coming off. It has been that simple in the past for me

wheel were also balanced and 100% striaght

i can only think that the gearbox itself has a problem then as everything else has been looked over, lsd might be ok, but what if the main shafts or gears inside have worn bearing, broken teeth etc...

i would take the box to a transmission specialist, one thats not a dodgy fudger, or if you feel you can do it your self take it apart and have a look
