Hi matey

My personal favourite for components in a fez are 13cm Kicker KS series.

They give a nice sound for the money.

I've heard a lot about Rainbow audio but never but never heard a set myself.

Bassboy have you heard a set of the rainbow components suggested before?

thanks for everyones help and opinions so far :D
bassboy, i had a look at the £119 set of rainbow components and was tempted to buy them, but was unsure whether i could run them off my 1000watt 4 channel, or would have to buy another amp? if i had to buy another amp is there anywhere i could purchase an rca lead that splits from one into two as my headunit only has 1 rca output.
sorry for all the questions and again, thanks for everyones help
cheers

Thing is alot of users find Rainbow a little on the harsh side i.e. too clear if that makes sense. Your better off finding someone who some although that may be tricky :)

Harsh tells me that the crossover may be a little tweeter happy like infinity component sets.

Focal have an excellent balance so maybe look for an entry level Focal set.

its down to individual ears i as always as ive always found the opposite to what is said above :-? best thing to do is go have a listen to as many setups as you can mate and make a choice...

Infinity's are VERY VERY VERY good and EXCELLENT value for money, but i require more from my mids than what my Infinity perfects and kappas could provide hence moving towards rainbow power series which i reckon will keep up with my requirements without breaking a sweat...well hopefully LOL
