Conrod help

Currently rebuild my 1600 cvh and looking for about the 220ish bhp mark and was wondering whether to update the corned or not ? As I have read these are one of the week points of the engine around 240 bhp mark ? Or would it be safe to keep the standard rods and put a set of ARP bolts in them ?
