hi all im thinking of dropping something big in my 1.1l, but i have no clue (really) on which engine i can fit (perhaps mod inside the bay) to give me the most BHP
i also need help in what to buy ..etc..
iv looked for guides for conversions just so i can read through and give myself some kind of knowledge of how to do it
just a n00b needing some baby step help here :)
any guides or pro's here?
thanks

a 2.0 will give you 130+BHP and lots of usable torque. it is quite a recent common conversion to carry out as in my opinion it is fairly easy, there are plently of parts and many people have sucessfully done it. a 2.5 v6 would be nice but would require lots of time, money etc.

Depends on how your going to do things, if your rebuilding the engine it will cost more etc etc

You'll fit in the Guides forum a topic already started about how to convert your car to a 2.0 - Its a very good read and if you get stuff a few of us has done it.

thanks guys, £600 is very reasonable (thinkg of keeping bodywork standard for a while expect for the 15" alloys)
probably would consider re-building it at a later date
thanks all
:)
