All you need to know:

Try http://www.rscentre.co.uk and the parts sections on the RSOC board.

AdrianFRST,
sounds easy, is it? do i need to change brake lines etc. at the same time? would it be a god idea to get braided hoses whilst I'm at it?

I'll tell you on Sunday! I've got all the bits at home and I'm going to do the conversion tommorow.

The hoses are the same I believe, and I've been told that braided hoses don't make that much difference unless you have long runs. I'm not bothering.

Adrian.

The swap isn't too difficult as long as you have the correct parts  You may need a couple of extra washers to centralise the calliper on the disc, which may mean you need slightly longer 17mm bolts to hold the calliper.

The standard hoses will fit, but if you are intending fitting braided hoses at any stage now would be a good time to do it. (Saves taking it all apart twice )

While you are bleeding the system it would also be a good time to change all the fluid and put in DOT 5/5+ fluid to prevent it boiling.

Just remember to take it easy while bedding them in.

Regards,
Stephen

AdrianFRST,
How did the cossie brake conversion go?

Got my brakes working A LOT better now, changed the breke servo, pedal box and link bar and bled the system - brake pedals now level with the clutch and accellerator and they work much better.

Still interested in the cossie brakes cos I'm thinking about an engine transplant too now - FRST isn't quick enough anymore, just driven a 5.2 V8 TVR Griffith 500 F**K ME! I need an engine like that in my Fezzie!!! Do you think a V8 might fit?!!!
