Cossie/focus ST170 combo

Would it be possible for me to mount a cossie brake calipers on a focus ST170 300mm discs? Im thinkin that some sort of 10mm spacing out bracket will be needed :-? Would it be worth the hassle/looks etc. do ya think?
Also is the focus caliper a lot bigger than the cossie ones or just 10mm?

Mate bought a set of st170 calipers and they are much bigger than the cossie ones I have.

As far as offsetting the caliper, the cossie caliper needs a 5mm spacer between the hub + carrier if using 283mm discs.
