WHY!?
Do you have any idea what 178.8mph feels like in a Fiesta? 2000 lb of pressure per square inch per second pushing back on your face. It feels like god himself is trying to rip the skin off your skull while someone lands a 747 on your chest.

Paul, concentrate on getting yourself a monster brake setup with 4pots, big discs and a decent rear disc conversion - YOU'LL NEED IT!

Ask anyone thats been in my car (I am sure they'll agree. (Ade and Momo must have seatbelt marks on their shoulders from last time still

True, couple that with a decent brake setup on a fiesta with lots of HP is the answer!

Cheers boys..
I had a set of rear disc's and calipers to fit on but descided against them as i couldn't see a practical gain..
Its all very well having big calipers and discs but i'm after better braking response and pedal feel..
I'll see how i get on with the Esc Cossie disc's and calipers and if there no good i'll get a set of AP's mmmmmm
I off to inspect some mk4/5 braking systems cya! :Q

Do you want your foot to feel comfortable 'regards to pedal feel' when you brake or your car to act more responsive and brake better!? (invest in a nice pair of Nike Air Trainers, you can then feel more comfortable and have good brakes) - JOKEZ - I am just messing!
On a serious note, I thought that my old fiesta brake conversion was quite good considering the power I had even then. B U T, when I got this rear disc conversion and big front conversion done - It was a totally diffierent breaking experience.
Then again, it's what YOU want, and how much money you want to spend. If your using your car for 1/4 miles, you are better off with standard discs and calipers as you have more than enough breaking space and would benifit more with the ability of fitting smaller rims with huge profile tyres. Or if you are a bit of a racer and like to drive round and round bendy bits and floor it on the straights and break late enough before the next bend go for a bigger break setup (inc rear disc).
Personally I think my setup suits me best because it's good enough for everything (but might need some stnd fiesta turbo calipers just incase I buy those huge slicks for the 1/4 mile runs  )

Ade - I didn't know that Excursion had a rear disc conversion - cool.
But whats with the 'BEFORE YOURS' comment!? - I dont get bothered about things like that unlike others on this site (lol - u know exactly who I mean)
I had 17's on my car before you, I had a cossie front bumper before you, I have a mondeo rear spoiler before you, i had m3 mirrors before you, I had.......on and on and on ...... - Sorry My Jokes getting a bit 5h1t3 now INIT! - LOL

Sunny Ive heard lots of good reports about your brakes! but after going out in momo's 2 litre lastnight i dont think anything could impress me more - hes got the gas assisted servo off the esc cos and esc front setup - its incredible, i doubt your little discs could match that
