Cossie rear brakes on FRST

Will Cossie RWD or 4x4 rear calipers/discs etc fit on a FRST without too much grief?

From experience rear disc conversion are more trouble than they are worth. The drums are more than up to the task of stopping the car and work, why interfere?

I was reading the article in Fast Ford and was intregued as they make it look pretty easy and relatively inexpensive. If it is griefy though I won't bother as I haven't got a lot of spare time and need to use the car every day.

I do tend to agree in large with what Fast Ford print especially over the last 12 months where they have really lifted their game and now produce a superb mag.

The rear disc thing is just something I'm still not even vaguely convinced about. I'm quite happy to be proven wrong, but until I do see and experience a properly working rear disc conversion that hasn't had bias valves or posh pedal boxes added I will continue to advise against their fitment.

Sounds too much like hard work to me!
Are there any problems with fitting the cossie 4x4 front brakes (other than having to fit 15" wheels)?
The Cossie 2wd calipers don't fit, do they?

The Cosworth front brake conversion is superb :Q You will need to use 4x4 calipers and discs and iirc 5mm spacers to bring the caliper out to the correct position. Depending on your choice of wheel you may have issues with the wheel weights catching on the caliper
