Hi does anyone know what cossie to get the t3 off to fit a frst engine? does it make a difference.

also what is the spec of a standard cossie t3, and what makes it different to an escort t3.

cheers Tony

just guessing at things here but would it not be the compressor side of the turbo thats different. giving a bit more puff to the turbo.

hello mate ..i have a 4x4 cossie turbo on mine .i used the exhaust housing of a s1/s2 so internally the cossie is the same on that side. the compressor side is bigger internally.. the benifits over a normal t3 i dont know ....the 4x4 was going begging when i needed a turbo :)

there water cooled, the cores are the same as a s2 one ...i used the s2 exhaust housing so that it mated to my exhaust without mods....the cossie housing needs a custom down pipe being made :)

Normal Cossie ones have a larger exhaust housing i believe.

4x4 Cossie turbos are a bit more different though, using a larger inlet and exhuats housing making them the equivalent of stage 2 turbos techincially. As stated they can flow over 300 happily.
