just guessing at things here but would it not be the compressor side of the turbo thats different. giving a bit more puff to the turbo.

hello mate ..i have a 4x4 cossie turbo on mine .i used the exhaust housing of a s1/s2 so internally the cossie is the same on that side. the compressor side is bigger internally.. the benifits over a normal t3 i dont know ....the 4x4 was going begging when i needed a turbo

there water cooled, the cores are the same as a s2 one ...i used the s2 exhaust housing so that it mated to my exhaust without mods....the cossie housing needs a custom down pipe being made

Normal Cossie ones have a larger exhaust housing i believe.
4x4 Cossie turbos are a bit more different though, using a larger inlet and exhuats housing making them the equivalent of stage 2 turbos techincially. As stated they can flow over 300 happily.
