COST OF A ZETEC TURBO

HELLO, i currently have a fiesta rs1800 and i want a turbo. what is the best thing to do. buy a fiesta turbo and put the engine in mine as ive done loads of work on my car or do i turbo the rs1800 engine i have in my car? please help as i dont know what i should do lol

also could you give me a rough guess at how much it would cost to turbo my car thanks everyone

For a very basic turbo conversion on your car i would go for 1k or there abouts :)

thats like asking how long is a piece of string.

it all depends on the spec you want and if you want properly built or just a sandwich plate slapped in and a small amount of boost.

you will never get big power out of the 1.8, would be better building up a 2ltr block and replacing the lot in one go, will get more power and torque straight away with the same things as the 1.8 due to the extra displacement.
