Has anyone got any coloured dials in their car other than white or black?
I am going to get some dials, but I just wondered if the coloured ones looked any good.If not I will just go for the classic white ones.
Thanx,Lee

The problem is that my car is ash black, and I already have black dials
I have narrowed it down to white or silver. I quite fancy something different (ie silver),but I don't want them to look naff.Anyone got any pictures of silver dials in a mk3?
Thanx,lee

When i was in a scrappie in Poole the other day, I took out a standard instrument pannel from a fiesta classic (p reg) and the bits behind the needles were kinda like a subtle navy dark blue. Anyone tell me if they had faded, if it was an extra, if they were standard, or if the prev owner would have got them from a company like lockwood? I would have had it but the bloke told me I wouldnt be able to wire up the rev counter unless I did some other stuff, plus I didnt have £15 on me

could do the transparent look, scan some lockwood dials remove the colour background and print onto OHP style paper, then take out ur dials and stick the see through ones on, and voila loads of PCB's and stuff to look at while u should b watching the road  ahhh a moose

Why not use both the CD & transparent ideas together? Put a CD in with the transparent things on top

but is there enough space behind the faces to mount a neon, [ERRR] i though of doing the transparent [ERRR] some tracing paper behind to make it white at day and then glow blue or green at night

what do you think is this pos?
