Im looking into fitting a 1600cc crossflow engine from a xr2 into my fez.

1. is it a simple swap?

Surely you'd be much better off fitting the cvh 2i engine than the Crossflow :-?

you could buy 1.4 cvh head with in and outs and carb with bolt on filter wouldnt be much less perforance than a 1.6 cross flow. I love the crosss flows personally, even if they do lack performance and fule economy

what a just take the head off my engine and fit a 1.4 cvh one? what else would i have to do/buy to do this?

and reason being i'm on a tight budget and dont really want to have to change many things over.

sorry my mistake.
might have heard of this, but looked for details cannot find.
is their a reason you have decided on the cross flow as first choice ?
