More probs guys ,my frst has started cutting out drives ok then starts running really badly and cuts out starts back up and off we go then runs really badly again like theres nothing eventually cuts back in had new coil pack, leads,plugs had plugs out first 2 clean a bit white other 2 a bit black and oily help please cheers jim

MAF/TPS/MAP?

FRST isn't equipped with MAF.TPS would create problems especially in half throttle and perhaps would increase consumption.What really worries me,is that 2 of the plugs are oily and black.Normaly,spark plug color is brownish,black is overfueling.White is overheating usually.But if 2 of the plugs is oily and black,means that you have some oil in the cylinder.I would start with a compression test,and depending on the readings I would take the head off to see the headgasket.It could be also piston rings...oil in the cylinders could be from stem seals too,but the engine smokes a bit on startup and then clears.After that it runs as it should,till the next time...is it smoking?If yes what colour do you see and under what circumstances?

Hi yeah smokes on start up (blue) then stops had compression test done apperently had good results on all cylinders doin my head now jim
