CVH engine, throttle body manifold, Carbs

Postby Westie on Tue Jan 06, 2015 6:00 pm

Hi Chaps,
Engine upgrade means I have a few bits to let go.

Complete Ford 1.6 CVH engine, October 1988, as lean burn was post 86 I'd say it is lean burn. The cam is Burton BFX 2359. Including twin 40 DCOE carbs and manifold, fast road cam, setup to the engine, alternator plus mounting bracket. Flywheel and clutch to fit a type 9 gearbox. I've done about 3000 miles with it, since it was fitted into my Westfield over a the years. £500ono (Collection from Margate can be brought up to Epsom for £40)

Twin 40 DCNF carbs with manifold, never used these, and sat silently on a shelf. £250ono + p&p or collection from Epsom

Throttle body manifold for Jenvey to Zetec, 95mm diagonal measurement from back to front (about 82mm horizontal) 100+p&p (or collection from epsom)

CVH head gasket 6+p&p (or collection from epsom)

CVH exhaust gasket 5+p&p (or collection from epsom)

Cheers,

AnDy

I'll take a side view tonight, the manifold is new, fitted it to my westfield, couldn't close the bonnet properly, took it off again. Where is it being posted to?

EDIT: Should have read the location before replying :)

did you need a new manifold or have you got one as I have got a dunnell zetec throttle body manifold that's more suited to fit the tb's horizontally??

I bought another one from burton that was a very very shallow one, otherwise we could have swapped :)

EDIT: will check postage tomorrow for you.

Hello - I realize your post is a bit aged but wondering if the CVH manifold and DCNF carbs are still available. I'll be in the UK next Wednesday to Saturday to come pick up.
