is there a better gearbox around which fits the cvh if so will it open up more speed :D

the mtx box is about the best you could fit....62 mph in second gear...no bc box will do that ....very hard conversion though and not many people have dont it ....speak to jamsport...

What engine are you running and to what spec.

As said above the MTX74 box can be made to fit but on a Fiesta it requires some fairly heft surgery.

While we're on the issue of gearboxes, does any one know if the ratios differ much between the different model i.e a gearbox from a 1.1 compared to one from a 1.6?

lol its normal spec till after crimbo then im ripping it apart again or i might just zvh it im not sure yet i just wanting to no what box options i have

The only box I would opt to swap for is the S2 Escort RS Turbo item as it has the LSD which will help you get the power down. Standard boxes aren't overly tough but a well rebuilt one should last you well.
