nitrous is nice but it has a habit of severly shortening the life of an engine, not good if u forked out for a 2.1 zvh motor. Still i wouldn't mind giving it a blast for a laugh (in somebody elses car like)

I've had a kit sitting in my loft for the last year or so Hopefully I'll get the time to fit it this summer. I've read all the do's and don'ts about NOS but, having spoken to Trev @ Wizards of NOS, most of these come from people who have never used it, so the whole thing becomes a bit of an "urban myth". Careful use should yield 50bhp!! As with anything, caution is required. I mean, you wouldn't go running 30psi on a std turbo with no engine mods, now would you?!

Check this out!!! From Trev's Wizard of NOS site
Two dynamometer runs on a stock Suzuki GSXR-1100-WP (apart from the Nitrous System with 50bhp metering jets fitted) showing bhp increase when the button is pushed at 7400rpm's onwards on the 2nd run. This graph shows it is a little rich for safety, but still makes 190bhp at the rear wheel, even with stock exhaust and ignition, and a gravity fed fuel supply to the Nitrous System.

I've fitted a few kits on N/A cars, but i know someone who used the setup to give instant accleration before the turbo comes in, then it acts as a charge coolant! normally, nitrous and boost on small engines is a no no. Big engines with auto boxes benefit from the nitrous.
