Dastek Unichip

Postby DorsetZS on Mon Jul 07, 2003 1:28 pm

At the end of this month I hope to have fitted piper cams to go with my induction kit and zorst, so I thought a chip would be good to up the fuel to match, but I have seen the unichip which is mapable unlike superchips. So my question are they worth the extra money (around £400), it doesnt look like they give much more gains over a chip, anyone got one/experience ? And if I go for TBs later one can this be used or will I need a new ecu - like alpha management ? if I can it looks like a long term saving ?

Hope someone can answer these for me !!

I remember that post and it is well good, I know (think) they can still map upto 4 extra injectors but what about with TB's will this werk or will I need a new ecu ? Just looking for a local dealer, looks like a good bet !

Cheers

Yes the Unichip can be mapped using 8 injectors and TB's.
