Dead fiesta UPDATE
Hey guys. I have literally had my rs for about 3 days and done 6 miles. On the way home it seemed to misfire and then cut out. When ignition is turned on, the fuel pump sounds as if it's priming but doesn't shut off. I have cracked of the nut on the fuel rail and when ignition is switched on fuel squirts out. I have taken out a plug and it sparks on cranking so im a bit stumped as to what it could be.
I have also switched over the yellow relay but to no avail.

Re: Dead fiesta UPDATE
Ok so after much faffing around I had a little thought and unplugged the "powerchip" from the ecu. Started up straight away
I am now under the impression that this chip is pants, I have re-installed it as the car is running beiges and I dont want to risk running too rich or lean.
What are my best options in terms of replacement of this chip. I don't want to go all out expensive management change as i'm not even sure I will keep the car once my little one arrives.
Thanks

The 195 chip ( i take it you have?) is not a good chip for the car and beiges can massively overfuel. I think that if youve got a 165 chip on beiges then its maybe an overfuelling problem.
Also you should only get a Prime of a few seconds then the pump should shut off as it has reached its running pressure. It could point to a faulty pump or pump relay perhaps aswell.
You need to strat from scratch with what pump your running, what bhp chip and what the injectors pump. Then try the pump relay!!
