i think the max boost you can run with a de comp plate is about 7psi isnt it?!

hardly worth it mate, money ould be better spent on a cam and some head work.

Someone has been on the Severn Valley motorsport website and copyed the Pukka engine spec.
Even i know that that engine has never made 450bhp [ERRR] its running on a ERST zorst manifold and that has trouble flowing over 300bhp

Mmmmmmm saaandwiches :D (sorry I know nothing about decompression plates other than that they, like tuning the 1600 16v engine, are a waste of time and money)

firstly if your serious you will know that there is no point using cast pistons and a decomp plate (decompresion is how u spell it)

also you are obvioulsy talkign sh!te as you should know that to get more than 370bhp out of a zetec will require a custom made cylinder head amongst many other custom things !

a standard zetec head is to restrictive for anymore power !

so id recomend a compression plate then laugh when it goes bang or find out what your really doing and do it properly !

Every time you are on here you manage to tell us about another engine that is quicker than the last...just exactly where do you get your money...if you are not a 16 yr old just having a laugh

You will never get 450bhp...not even in your dreams. Don't believe everything you read in the mags especially if it comes from Severn Valley

Oh and I'd love to know where you are getting your T2 from...because pretty much you can't

Oh, lastly, with standard ERST manifold you'll never get more than 330....still good luck to ya....can't wait to see it.

Dave
