deflex poly bushes

Postby xrsi on Thu Apr 21, 2005 10:46 am

i know rawli had problems with the gearbox mounts from them...

but ahs anyone else had bushes from them? if so what are the quality like of them?

am looking to polybush the whole car including the gearbox mounts (got machines in uni that i can drill the holes out no probs!) and deflex are alot cheaper than the others, is the quality less tho?

thanks

Got some escort mk4 bushes from them. The only thing I could complain was there were quite a few air bubbles in the moulding, especially the strut top bushes. One was about 3mm across, cant be good. With deflex if there are any metal inserts they are just zinc plated. The likes of powerflex are stainless IIRC

My front and rear suspension set came next day, they even replaced my rear bushes free when I realised my mk5 rear beam had different size bushes to the original mk3
