Ish.

There is a unit attached between the block that is often reffered to as an oil cooler but in actual fact it was fitted with the intention of heating the oil so the car came to normal operating temperature quicker.

There is an arguement that it beghaves as an oil cooler after this point but I'm sceptical and wouldn't like to say without testing the theory

although im not one to say something without it being unfounded i would have thought it would act as an oil cooler on the basis of;

A. it doesnt contain a heating element(AFAIK)
B. it has fins on it that would act as a passive cooling element.
8 slices, 4 Sandwiches.

there is a oil/water heat exchanger fitted between the block and the oil filter but i wouldnt like to say how well it worked doing either a warming or cooling roll!
