The blocks themselves should just bolt straight in - one is a longer stroke version of the other iirc - we had a 1.1 for a couple of months. Carbs will just bolt on i'd think, they're not performance models - i'd also think that the Fi would bolt on - maybe a different ECU for a 1.3?

What happened about sticking the 1.6 CVH engine in it? I put a 1.3 engine in my 1.1 SX fiesta, but mine had a carb. I'd have thought you would only have to change the ECU to the 1.3 one and everthing else should be OK. You may have to change to the 1.3 CFi unit also, but the exhaust manifold, inlet manifold and loom should be the same.

Hope this helps ya :)

If i was going to use another HCS engine, i'd like to use the Ka or MK4 fiesta one as its EFi, but i'd have thought that would involve changing the loom as its EFi.
