Disconnecting map sensor

if i unplug my map sensor on my frst nothing seems to happen!!! is this right or should something happen???? only asking because my car will no rev when accelerator is pressed so im thinking map is knackerd. any help would be great. thanks

id of thought the only thing that would happen would be the revs rising due to the air leak. nothing else would happen until you drove it on boost then it would go bang :lol:

Are you disconnecting it electrically? What management system? My OFAC setup wouldnt start with the map unplugged.
