ok have mk4 door cards (rear so far) but wanna retrim the centre bit! (sadly all plastic with no trim but what do you expect for £4 a throw! )

anyhow i think maybe using some sort of spray glue and then some padding or just some material on top would work.

What materials would work best [ERRR] this as i want a nice finish that is easy to achive.

The best would be JJ's mk4 alcantara jobbies but they cost 2 much (well how much is alcantara)

anyway, what material would be best, how much and where from

Finally what is the best retrim method!? :aaah:

cheers

*LOL*

You'll need to save those pennies - alcantara is around £50/linear metre

Use spray glue to fix the material on, or pay a pro like Neil Tadman to do it properly!!

I am doin summat similar to my fezzy m8....when i've got 16V seats and rear door cards, i'm buying the ford material to match and re-trimming Mk4 cards to match.....then concentrating on my ICE. Once that's completed I'm getting a full leather/alcantara retrim done by a pro.
If you want it to look mint then get it done professionally...if you can't afford that just yet, why not do the same as i'm doing just for the meantime???
