the front of my car looks better with clear repeaters but i h8 that ford badge, do i risk sanding it down and filling in the badge hole and the swage lines.
i am inept at most things but have endless amounts of time as an A level student.
The worrying bit is the respray over to match the gloss black. Halfords spray cans anyone
any advice welcome.
Oh and i want to leave it ok to weld on slats for my badboy bonnet l8tr on, like the 25% ones brad used to have.
ooh or should i go for the full bonnet. ooooh!

I'm a aprentice panel beater and have a festa 1.3LX.
I smother the bonnet and the hole behind the badge.
first i cleaned all the paint away from the grove and around the hole (the hole is quite deep and i thought it would crack with filler).
I filled the swage line and put some deep into the hole to fill the inside. i let it go hard the i applied more filler to the hole rubed it down, primed it and sprayed it.
Using spray can paint, u can never get a colour match espically with your car being 10 or so years old. i suggest masking off the top of the front end of the bonnet and sprat the front.
Get a buffer ang give the bonnet a really good polish and it should be ok
