do the mondeo v6 callipers fit the fiesta xr2i. i heard they are the same size and diameter as the cozzie brakes.ive also been told that on the mondeo v6 they made 2 sizes of callipers,ie 278mm and some thing smaller how do i no if ive got the bigger size callipers and also i was told i need to fit some washers.what size was hers do i need and how many per calliper

im pretty sure the callipers fit but i think you may have to use differant discs

Well I can tell you that there the same size of caliper but just use a bigger disc. The 2.0 have 260mm and the V6 uses 280mm. How do I know my other car is a mondeo!!

I know that the mondeo brakes have a 12mm mounting as opposed to the fiesta 10mm so means you have to drill out the upright. Its been done alot on the Mk4-Mk5 fiesta with success, but by the sounds of the link they may just be too big for the standard master cylinder to cope.

The other way maybe is to fit the 260mm disc and calipers of the Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S. Because all these owners go to 280mm or 300mm.
