Dodgy Fuelpump

Hi

I had problem with my fuel pump, didnt prime. I took it and got diagnosed.........

TRACE FEEDS FROM FUEL PUMP RELAY SWITCHING
REPAIR POOR CONNECTIONS TO MAIN FUEL PUMP
HEATED EARTH JOINT CONNECTOR FOUND AT PUMP
REPAIR PUMP CONNECTIONS

Ran fine then same prob occured, he advised to wiggle cable (the cables he recrimped and said were the prob!), if all else fails, new pump!
i presumed at worst , just freshly recrimped and new connector?...and today prob arose, A A guy took connector off, said 1 of 5 pins is burning, popped it back to normal, fitted to pump, so my question is, do i just need the plastic mounting and feed the wires in and hey presto?
