it was an awesome console, i bought it form him only to find out it had been tampered with to play copied games, it has also been sold by him before and returned because it didnt work, and he relisted it the fucker!, ive opened a case against him through ebay as he hasnt replied to my emails, what would anyone consider next?

I think all Dreamcasts can play copied games from factory anyway, probably why it failed :lol:

eBay dispute is all you can do really unless you send da boiz round.

The very first games needed a boot disk but all other games just worked with out any chipping of the machine

hmm i didnt know that, in any case i raised a case with ebay as i want my money back or a replacement console (f**k knows where he would get it from though) and ive emailed him 3 times, without any reply. the fact that its broken isnt the problem i would just return it, the problem that ive got is you should have seen how excited i was when i came home from work and it was here. i was like a school kid at christmas, then it didnt work, broke my little heart that did

I bought a NES from someone back in 2007 which he never posted

I was so distracted with other stuff at the time, though, that I kinda forgot about it and never put a dispute in... However, yesterday, I found all the original emails and details with his address and everything, so just for fun I'm going to see if I can jog his memory and let him know that I don't forget about these things

Of course, if he doesn't live at that address anymore, I probably won't get very far... :lol:
