current mot standreds state you must have a mechanical way of opening the doors from the out side ie a handle under a weel arch or so <br>incase you are involved in an accedent which in my view is more work than it worth

fiestaboy what u said is not quite right the mot states that u must be able to open the door from the inside and the outside it does not say anything about machically my van is dehandled and has been through 3 mots
