Dual sub scenario :-)

The only ICE I have in my car is a cheap-n-cheerful CD player which has 2 RCA outputs (and the usual ISO one).

My aim is a boot-build, including 2 subs.

I don't know too much about amps, subs, and wiring - so be easy on me ;)

Question: How can I run 2 subs (10"), and 2 6x9's from ONE set of RCA plugs?

Can you string amps together, or run them parallel?

I'm kind clueless!

It's all theortical atm, as I don't have the money to buy it - just doing my homework before I do :aviator:

by a 2 channel amp with 2 rca slots and get a set of splitter rca leads basically one in to, two jobby for about 7 quid i think, and should be able to run both channels then, amping 6x9s is pretty pointles and 6x9s in a hatchback is pretty pointless with subs they interefer with each other

I'm going to use an in-car PC to supply the tunes :)

It'll be a mini-ITX [fanless 1GHz] system, with a 24-bit Creative soundcard, and a touch-screen USB monitor...

Budget won't be too high - I don't want a powerful system - just something which gives a nice subtle boom when in the car.
