dumpvalves

has anyone fitted or no anyone who has fitted a dumpvalve to a turbo diesel engine
.i was to by a person that it wont work properly because turbo diesels dont produce enough pressure to make the sound.how true is this.can i fit 1 ?any help would be great.i like the sound of dump valves :D

Diesels tend to run a lot more boost than petrol cars due to how they work! High compression efficiency and all that jazz!

Nope.

A diesel engine is a different kettle of coconuts altogether. You can buy controlers to that allow the fitment of a dumpvalve but they are expensive and offer no benefit at all
