hi all, ive just got a dvd player for my car, got it all working fine but want the sound to come out of the car system and not just earphone (whats been used at the mo) my head unit is abit basic really, got the sub/amp etc, ive wired it up but no sound, i am looking at buying a new head unit, the bloke from the company i got the dvd player says i need a cd player with an aux so i can change over to that and then the sound will come out!!
well is that just a buttom or something like on a tv to get your ps2 to work or something? if so what head units have this and how do i look for it?

an aux (auxillary) is just a little hole which you can put a head phone jack in , so you put the cable from the headphone socket on the dvd player to the aux in socket on the c.d player. most c.d players nowadays have em, hope this helps

Right from the picture you have of your HU, it does have an input.
Run the phono leads from the L-AUDIO-R on the back of the dvd player to the first set of inputs on the HU, the set that have BUS AUDIO IN below it.
You have have a setting on the head unit that you have to change to enable the audio in.
Give it a try and see how you get on
