Earth wire help!!

hi there, well ive got some earth wire wich is 4awg, and i cant find a connector big enough to fit the wire and to fit the amp, where could i get one from??

Maplin do them. Gold plated ones. Sure loads of places do, just that's where I usually use.

4 AWG earth!

That must be one meaty amp!

I'd go with maplin too, they do all sorts there.

If the wire wont fit into the amplifier terminal you probably dont need wire that big. Alternatively you could just shave some of the fibres off until it fits properly...just make sure theres no wires touching the casing of the amp.

Lol 4 guage isnt that thick, you want to get your hand around 0/4 gauge now thats more like a elongated marrow :devil:

In my car, I run American 0AWG Power and earths to amplifiers which only produce 20watts per channel, due to there quality and the efficiency of the speakers.

The connectors which you are after should be available from any local electrical shop, but maplins is your best bet :)
