Easiest way to change the calipers!

Postby rajaboyuk on Sat Feb 28, 2004 9:35 am

As title,
i am going to change my calipers for some i got off gadget, and just wanted to know easiest way to transfer the brake line without spilling and making a major mess of the brake fluid!

I heard you can get a clamp or something to put on the pipe to stop it letting anything in or out, is this true, if so what is it called?

Raj

Thanks for any help!

Just clamp the hose with a brake line clamp, couple of quid from halfords, before you undo the caliper, but why not go for braided hoses aswell? Remember to fully bleed your brakes after tho.
