********EASY (haha) QUESTION ON FIESTA TIRES*********

Postby fiestyRS on Fri May 19, 2006 8:15 pm

ok,mot failed on 2 front tires a while back so just to get it through i put some 195/50/15`s on the front.(all they had in on the day + scrape on full lock).
it had 195/45/15`s all round originally.
car is very low,and the new rear bumper is allmost touching the floor while the front is a tiny bit higher.(easy solved with a splitter maybe).
anyway.. instead of replacing the 50`s on the front with 45`s like i planned so they match again, what about swapping the front & rears round??
will this give me a little bit of breathing space at the back between the bumper and ground, plus eliminating the scraping & the need of a splitter at front,or is it not worth doing?
reason im asking rather then trying is car is miles away at bodyshop lol.
i would do it before i drive it home if you guys rekon it would work...
cheers.

having the 50's on the rear would be a better idea
