To my knowledge EBC only make plain and combi discs which are grooved and spotted (drilled but not all tha way through) which look very nice behind a nice set of wheels, we buy plain discs and get them x drilled by an engineer which makes it cheaper to buy and manufacture so we can then pass this reduction on to our customers.
On the subject of difference between x drilled and grooved its a case of personnel taste
Steve

Grooves improve 'cleaning' of the pad surfaces and result in a more consistent brake performance. As the disc is stiall basically as the original cast they have a longer life than cross-drilled discs.

Cross-Drilled discs offer improved 'bite' and 'feel', but are less resistant to cracking than grooved or plain discs. Standard compound solid discs drilled are very pprone to cracking and warping.
