Economical brake upgrade for my frst

can anybody give me some suggestions as to how i can upgrade the brakes on my frst?? only got standard ones at the mo with drilled and grooved discs

any help would be great

go for the tried an tested 4x4 cosworth calipers, discs and pads :)

Cosworth ones will do yes but you'll need some spacers (I used washers) to go between calliper and hub.

Ive got Mk5rs2000 discs(260mm) with mk1 mondeo calipers and pads. no spacing needed at all. Just the mounting holes need drilling out for the bigger bolts

get mondeo st24 2.5 v6 calipers same as cossy but cheaper try first for spares in garstang we deliver them to and would throw in the disc if u ask and they fit straight on all u will need it if its a mk3 then u may need to drill the caliper bolt holes on the hub as theyre smaller on the mk3 and ull need 15" 07918731148
