i know there was a topic on this but i cant find it.
ecotec thingis work by agitating the air in the inlet manifold, IS this what fezzi swirl pots do?

if i were to put fezzi swirl pot on a 1.1i would it improve fuel consumption, acceleration at low rpm speeds! :???:

Swirl pots : These are used for the cooling system to help keep air locks from happening. The water is forced to circle on the inside wall of the swirl pot which will make any air bubbles leave the water.

It has nothing to do with disturbing air on the inlet manifold.

Ecoteks are a waste of money

An oil separator, which I often mistakenly call a swirl pot

The theory is the oil-vapour laden air blowing off the rocker cover is passed through this which separates the oil and water - the majority of the oil is then blown into the air pipe just after the air filter, and the majority of the air is sucked straight into the inlet manifold.

Better than having nothing there at all
