ECU remapping

Postby StevenW on Tue Dec 28, 2004 8:46 pm

Hi there

I'll start off by saying this isn't for a Fiesta, but I used to own one so thought I would try you guys out

Now my ECU is Bosch ME7.4.4 (if that helps) on a Saxo.......anyone know of any reputable companies in the South who offer ECU remapping?

Ideally im probably just after contact details/website and i'll give them a ring to see if they can do a Saxo, as I dont expect many of you know companies who can remap a Saxo ECU? :)

MSD are the only company I have found so far but they are around 300miles away....so i'm just looking into alternatives (if there are any!)

id go to MSD as there reputation is second to none. Its a bit of mission took me just over 3 hrs @ around 100 most of the way to get there. But i reckon its well worth the trip. Unfortuantly mine wasnt able to be mapped when i last went. But i will be going up there as soon as i sort out what im doing with the inlet side of things.

You probably know that power engineering is near us but ive heard mixed things about them plus they dont do live maps, its all done on the rollers.

Defo go to MSD your get a live map and there prices are very very competive. Think its around 375 all in for mine to mapped. Also they do sell of the shelf kits so maybe they have a chip they can just send ya rather than you having to make the trip.
