ECU Specifications & Information

Postby saqmaster on Sun Sep 08, 2002 5:17 pm

Does anyone know where I can obtain full technical specs of RS Turbo and Cosworth ECU's? I mean *complete* specs - pin-outs, data specs, sensor feeds etc.

Thanks

Ther's a guy thats just developed his own data readout type display for the cossie management going under the name of S.E.C.S. and it gives u a display as to the water temp, charge temp, etc, basically anything u wanna know that the ECU is doing. Not sure if its a mangement (input) device as i havent loked into it, but its defo an output device. If u did a search for it then im sure u could find a full tech spec of it somewhere, which would in turn tell u what each pin does on the ecu.

Im sure someone on here once said that cossie management doesnt work on a fiesta before though...... Even for an ERST running on cossie management u need to swap the whole loom i think.

Not a great help i know mate, but hth slightly

Ford and their Techie help departments may be the best peeps to ask but don't forget they may be VERY cagey about the information.

Snake on this site, if you can get hold of him, is also the man to ask ;)
