EFi Crank Sensor Problems on a ZVH

Postby sortedford on Sat Oct 15, 2005 2:19 pm

right heres a fun one.

using the CVH flywheel (number of reasons, ie 2.0 was from a auto, and this one is lightened).
you cant use the CVH crank sensor mount as its too small for the hole in the zetec block.
so ive used a zetec one.
the zetec sensor looked too short, by about 1 cm so ive kept with the CVH one, however it appears to be too long, and although i know it should be close to the fly wheel its touching it.
Has anyone else come across this problem? if so what did you do?
Im thinking about a little spacer between the sensor and the mount to pull it back a bit?
Thanks
Ian
