Postby ZetecsTurbo on Tue May 13, 2014 10:00 am

I need to buy a new TPS for my Efi HO inlet manifold, i dont have the car to use a registration to get the part so i was wondering if anyone know what car specifically had these inlets (was is just fiestas or escorts like rs turbos ect)
Or has anyone got a reg i can use to get my part
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the TPS is the same on nearly all the silver top Zetec-engined cars? Fiestas, Escorts and Mondeos. Hopefully someone will confirm!

Like I say, I'd like to see someone confirm, but if they're not, I'd say that all the Fiesta and Escort ones that have an alloy inlet manifold (so that's the SO, HO and the smaller 1.6 alloy inlet) should be fine because they fit the same way. Something deep deep in the back of my mind says the Mondeo (and late Escort ones?) with the black plastic inlet (throttle body is mounted on top) *may* have a different style of pot where the throttle body stub end fits into the TPS, but I can't honestly say. I have both laying about somewhere but I haven't seen either for years!
