efi inlet

Problem or technical question?

efi inlet

Hi people,

Got an efi inlet and wondered if its the correct one i need for my zetec turbo conversion. im going to be running ofab system. The inlet looks the one pictured below. help would be much appreciated.

Yea that's the right one fella you will need adaptor plates for It to fit to the zetec engine tho. Plenty of other options to go for if you don't want to use this design, apparently they aren't a very good port match to the zetec engine

want the cheapest method really.

Can you tell me what the bit/part on the drivers side of the inlet is on some castings but this hasnt got it.?

that would be the idle speed control valve. the inlet you have pictured is for a remote idle valve.

Thanks. So i will be ok to run ofab system. just got to find an remote icv.

yeah no probs. you need the same valve bolted to the other style inlet ,later efi cars in the ford range have the remote valve on a bracket near the bulk head.
change the xr2i air temp sensor you have in your inlet to a rs turbo item.
