EGR Blanking?

will a 1.6 Si pass the MOT if u take the EGR system out? Has any1 actually managed it?

Because requirements for the cars being amde differ from the MOT requirements.

For example the charcoal canister, a car wouldnt get approval without one, but dosen't affect the MOT in any way.

Are these the codes for them?
Item 16 is approx 96p each and FINIS is 6732263 (EGR Blanking plug, Less Pulse System)
Item 17 is approx 8p each and FINIS is 1008597

I've no idea what the part numbers are cos I don't have Microcat. The description sounds spot on though.

I take it the 8p items are the copper crush washers. If you have trouble getting them I have a set you can purchase.
