Elephant.co.uk - any good?

Postby Paul_16v on Mon May 29, 2006 12:26 pm

Its renewal time for me and i'm currently going around getting quotes and Elephant seem the cheapest by far (£800 fully comp on my Zetec S)

So i'm just wondering if I did go with them, what are they like?

Cheers,

Paul.

Not a bad company mate, was with them last year, but if u do decide to Modify the car none of the mods will get replaced if u have a accident, they will only replace for standard items.

Need anythink else catch me on msn mate ;)

In a word No they are completely useless. Elephant/Admiral and Diamond should be avoided at all costs. The quotes seem attractive but the cover you get for the money is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. :x

Admiral were happy to charge me a higher premium for my alloys but upon checking in the event of something happening they would only replace with factory kit. I know of many people that have had a lot of problems with the three companies and their umbrella company.

Cheap cover does not equal good cover.
