engine bay earth locations
right hope someone can shed some light for me but ive just finished fully rebuilding my frst engine and didnt mark or remember where all my wiring went, i know which wires went to alternator, starter motor, sensors and such its just all the earths bar the one by the header tank which i do remember, if any one could tell me or even with pics the too and from locations for all of the earths within the engine bay, also ive noticed my rev gauge is reading just from turning the ignition before starting and did start to do this before the rebuild

earth straps will be from the header tank area to the rear engine lifting eye,and from the gearbox to the battery tray ( i think) not got a battery in the bay any more lol)

Re: engine bay earth locations
guna say i havent got the battery in engine bay either its in my boot, what ive got at the moment is the header tank one to lifting eye which i know is correct, then since my rebuild ive ive got what i would call a three way strap which is all one with three connections and it is attached on a bolt along the bottom of gearbox by filler hole at front then goes to bolt holding starter motor then i assumed it needed to go body work from there and bolted it on the underside of the gearbox mount just dont think its where it came from initially though
