engine change

i have a 1.1 lx at the mo and i want to change the engine to a 1.3 will this work as i am under the idea that the engines are the same is that rite any ideas or advice would be great!!!!!

yeah it should be straight swap as the engines are pretty much identical BUT theres no real point of doing this as the power gains are very minimal and in order for you to insure it you would have to pay more than for a 1.6 si with zetec

i dont have a choice as the engine in it will blow up soon also its only an extra 150 pound and i was thinkin i am better off puttin a 1.3 in it rather than a 1.1 [ERRR] u think??
