would a 1.3 ka engine fit straight into a mk3.5 fiesta

Depends what engine the mk3.5 has. I dont think the KA engines are the same so prob not got the same engine mounts.

Don't bother it's still a pants motor. If you can't afford to insure a 1.8 or 2.0 conversion don't bother just hold out for some no claims and buy a quicker car as in th elong run it will work out cheaper.
